For a week, after a Phoenix police officer shot and killed an individual, protests outside the Phoenix PD was a daily occurrence. The officer had been arrested by fellow officers for shooting the unarmed man on a welfare call. His partner was in the room at the time and is part of the complaint against the other officer. Hispanic leaders rallied for an indictment. It came a week later and one of the rally organizers is thanking the County Attorney and those involved for their actions. I decided to be creative with this photo by allowing the only color in the television station's viewfinder.
