On the first day of Occupy Phoenix, the demonstrators moved from their initial site in downtown Phoenix to a park nearly a mile away. The police frequently warned the protestors that the park was closed and they were subject to arrest. Approximately, three hours later after additional warnings the police began their sweep of the park to arrest those who remained. As the final arrests were being conducted, the press quickly left since we were also in violation of the posted closing times.
