#7 Seagull

Over the New Year's holiday, I happened to be in California.  I've become convinced that it is nearly impossible to walk away from a beach without a great photograph.  Waiting at a restaurant overlooking the ocean was a great vantage point to be higher than the birds for a change.  The sun was getting ready to set.  This is the so-called "magic hour" when the light gives the most radiant colors.
