Diving lady

4/2/2013  Three years ago, this animated neon sign which was built in 1960 came crashing to the ground during a violent windstorm.  The motel owners didn't have the finances to rebuilt.  Mesa community members formed a non-profit group to restore it and bring it up to code.  It contains 80 to 90 percent of the original parts.  The community watched  as the iconic sign's neon lights came to life.  Over four hundred joined the celebration.
